There is a Big DifferenceReader comment on item: Moshe Sharon Explains Middle Eastern Realities Submitted by Greg Mack (United States), Sep 29, 2006 at 22:42 between the former Islamic territories of Greece, Sicily, and Spain, and the State of Israel... the Israelis are Jews, and there is a special reserve of enmity of grave proportions felt by Muslims toward Jews, dating back to the dawn of Mohammed's earliest conquests... this is the difference that will never allow Israel to live in peace. Only frequent demonstrations of overwhelming force will keep Israel relatively safe. Certainly not treaties or "land for peace" deals... That is not to say the Ummah will not come after Spain and Sicily one day, just that they will NEVER give up the hope of destroying Israel. jgm
