The writing is on the wall!Reader comment on item: President Bush Replies to My Iraq Critique Submitted by nick4693 (Japan), Nov 11, 2006 at 19:32 I agree with Gary. As he intimated, the key to winning the war in Iraq is to first recognize that "Shia Islam is inherently radical; Sunni Islam is not (with the exception of the Wahabis)." Distasteful though it may be, the US must choose between the two, however, the choice is obvious. Eliminate the Shiites and you deal a blow to both Iran and Syria, who are blatantly fighting against the West through surrogate terrorist organizations. These two renegade nations have to be faced sooner or later. Before Iran's nuclear facility is allowed to go onstream, it must be taken out, just as Israel destroyed Iraq's nuclear dream in 1981. But the bottom line is still the spread of Islam per se. For Pete's sake, we can put up all the border walls we like, but if we don't radically change our immigration laws and establish rigid screening methods, all the walls in China won't keep them out. To begin with, ALL US embassies must disregard ALL applications for entry into the US made by anyone with a passport issued by an Islamic country. Ominously, the first Muslim has been elected to Congress, thanks to the support he received from Somali immigrants. Are we to simply sit on the sidelines and watch as our nation is slowly but surely usurped by this pandemic? As the media stated: "While Muslim Americans make up less than 3 percent of the U.S. population and have largely been a non-factor in terms of political power, get-out-the-vote efforts in several Muslim communities could indicate they may become an emerging force." The writing is on the wall. Islam must be declared a terrorist organization. How can anyone in his right mind think otherwise? It's the only way we can rid ourselves of this vermin. Surely, their deeds up to now warrant such declaration! Radical? Of course it is! But radical problems demand radical solutions!
