You are wrong BillReader comment on item: President Bush Replies to My Iraq Critique Submitted by Gary Anderson (United States), Mar 11, 2007 at 23:34 Oil is the reason we went into Iraq. Imperialism of the first magnitude, a war crime if we consider that international law should mean anything. I realize it means nothing to Bush and Cheney, but we must remember Israel, who I support, exists because of international law. The Nazi's were prosecuted because of international law. If there is no legitimacy in these activities, then we may as well conquer all the oil, Iran, Russia, and then where does this end? Fulbright said there can be an arrogance of power. Eisenhower warned of the industrial/military complex. The time is now here that we see if our democracy is broken. That the issue of oil is nowhere to be found among the mainstream press as even being an issue that can be discussed is troubling indeed. Maybe Bush could get rid of Cheney so that we could impeach him for all the lies.
