OR MAYBE NOT...Reader comment on item: Jewish and Arab Demographics in Jerusalem Submitted by DONVAN (United States), Aug 3, 2007 at 15:17 All children are beautiful, Gabrielle. The notion of producing children for a political objective seems to civilized people crass. I would remind you that Moslems are made, not born. One can understand the desire of moslems to produce more children, since they obviously produce little else. Why do we not hear Moslems wanting children simply because they love them, rather than just another tool to defeat the hated infidels? To my American midwestern mind, thats just twisted. It also explains the readiness of (some) Moslem mothers to sacrifice their children to 'the god' . Is there no glimmer of love for all children, Jew or gentile, Hindu or Christian? Do you not understand that if all people were moslem, they would still kill each other. Sunni, Shiite, whatever. Have your children because you love them, let them chose their own path for themselves, Let them become Jewish,Christian, whatever they are called to worship, or none at all. Here in America, we call that freedom. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
