Hello Archimedes 2Reader comment on item: Permit Muslim-only Enclaves? Submitted by Kamal Krazie (Canada), Oct 12, 2007 at 04:44 Archimedes 2, violence as a means of ideological assent and arming for military conflict is not the crux of my argument. I openly challenge the notion of the Ahmadiyya sect being a ‘Pluralistic' and ‘Tolerant' version of Islam. Pluralism does not create an enclave with the mosque central to its community, that simply leaves everyone else outside looking in { sounds familiar ... think all the current Islamic states }. Tolerance does not embrace and preach overt disdain of any other belief { does that also sound familiar } a contempt seasoned with a rabid intolerant proselytizing, a manifesto that simply does not belong in the 21st century. Archimedes, absolute relativism vis-a-vis every creed is an excercise in abject futility unless the hard questions are asked! Questions begging to be answered; ? What is their vision of an exemplary society ? That is scratching the veneer that I speak of! ? Will they allow another house of worship to be built adjacent to their mosque ? Will they swear allegiance to the secular rule of law ? Will they voiceferously proclaim the sanctity of all viable spiritual beliefs ? Will they declare the universal rights and freedoms for all as their code of conduct ? Will they ? Archimedes non-violence { from a tiny sect} is highly commendable but the litmus test does not end there!
