Submitted by Ted (United States), Jul 17, 2010 at 23:46 Dear Dr Pipes: Your reader Kushibo states that Nation of Islam is not Muslim. Well that is the modus operndi of the Islamists. As long as a sect serves their purpose (e.g in staking claims to land and property, in building political clout, in being disagreeable, and at the time of census), every one is a Muslim. And when the position taken by a group or person becomes inconvenient or difficult to defend (e.g when the perpetrator resorts to heinous violence), they cease to be muslims. Heads I win and tails you lose. Perfectly good ethics.
