Your post reminded me of one other factReader comment on item: Lorraine Ali, the Worst Political Reporter in America? Submitted by Rick (United States), Oct 16, 2007 at 17:30 When I cancelled- in writing - Newsweek did not honor my request but kept sending it. I had to continually write to them to stop. Finally, it did stop coming but I never got back any pro-rated money from my remaining subscription. You were lucky that it was for free, but i was lucky that they didn't send it to me for another year! What a lousy, poorly written, and even worse proof read periodical. Would any person who writes for Newsweek admit to being one at a party? It would be like boasting about being a pest control 'engineer'. You want to keep such info under wraps. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
