"Beyond the Veil"Reader comment on item: Lorraine Ali, the Worst Political Reporter in America? Submitted by margee (United States), Jun 14, 2010 at 01:30 I commented in the Times on this article: 187. marcia gee. Florida June 13th, 2010 11:58 am So it was after 9/11 that this woman dug deep into her muslim faith. and so on. All over the world after 9/11, the American flags came out. But this U.S. born woman decides to flaunt her muslim-ness. Even her parents who came here for freedom don't understand it. I believe in her right to her religion but her religion does not require her to wear the veil, etc. She is making a statement. I have no doubt of this and find it worrisome. Just want to say I appreciate your articles on this website. margee making a statement delivering a message.
