Lazy and spoiled AmericansReader comment on item: Democrats Unlearn 9/11 Submitted by Sheila Pickerill (United States), Jan 7, 2004 at 10:47 It seems to me Mr. Pipes is, as usual, right on the button. One wonders about the why of American nonchalance, however - is it due to our laziness in thinking while too busy chasing down the latest gadget to amuse? A feeling of insularity and "Oh, well, someone will take care of preventing that" - I'm not sure, but it seems to me the worst enemies of not only America but the entire Christian world are being bred within the US! Such stupidity and blindness is akin, so to say, to stupidity and lack of foresight. Perhaps my 73 years of curiousity from within my US homeland have allowed me a sense of "What's going on NOW and what does THAT mean?!" or not is meaningless - who can say? My point is that it seems as though 99.9% of Americans are not awake to actuality. I am thankful for Campus Watch as well as Daniel Pipes for teaching me to THINK!Sincerely Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
