Communism, Nazism and Islam are all religions founded upon hatred which worship false gods (communism worships "the system", Nazism worshipped Hitler); the resemblance of communist hammer/scythe (scythe is symbol of "grim reaper" euphemism for death) and star/crescent makes this obvious.
Difference is that communism just happened to use an honest colour--red, as in planning to shed blood.
