PC in UKReader comment on item: When Osama bin Laden Becomes PC Submitted by Ron Irvine (United Kingdom), Jan 26, 2004 at 06:48 The article highlights the increasing nonsense of PC in UK where almost everything said or done is being questioned under the European Convention on Human Rights. National law established over centuries is being swept away in the name of 'Human Rights', but without reference to 'Human Responsibilities'. UK has become a 'compensation society' where employers and even individuals find it simpler and cheaper to settle fatuous claims rather than bear the vast expense of legal action.NEW SUBJECT: Do you think the French Government will eventually back down over the proposed 'religious symbols' legislation? Muslims throughout Europe including UK have demonstrated their characteristic outrage at such 'anti-Muslim' proposals.
