The PC UKReader comment on item: When Osama bin Laden Becomes PC Submitted by David Brown (United States), Jan 27, 2004 at 09:56 Dear Mr. Pipes:The answer to the question at the end of your article, is "no". The UK is fast becoming a leftist hellhole. Criminal prosecutions and penalties are so lax that the crime rate has skyrocketed. PC, as you point out, is rampant. British culture, like the French, is in the progress of being swamped by Islamic immigration. Centuries-old institutions associated with a culture that made the Empire by and large the most beneficent that ever existed are being tossed aside (House of Lords, hunting, the Monarchy seems certain to go any time). British TV imports used to be superb but now you can't look at them without being forced to absorb feminist propaganda. In the detective shows, the women are always the strong characters, the men supersensitive and whiny. Best regards
