Collision Course: Israel and AmericaReader comment on item: Obama and Netanyahu Meet: What's Next? Submitted by Rodney Dezarn (United States), May 17, 2009 at 13:03 The United States will seek to convince Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of the need for a Two-State solution however, Netanyahu will not be convinced. The visible danger of allowing a terrorist state supported by the International community to rise in close proximity to Israel would pose an extreme national security risk to Israel. Iran poses a problem with this far fetched fantasy of a peaceful solution having a firm control over it's proxy militia, Hamas. Israeli leaders know full well as long as Iranian and Syrian influence continue to increase in the region, their borders will always be under threat and their citizens held hostage by terrorists. The folly of any peace agreement being forged with the ever present threat of an Iranian nuclear bomb being detonated on Israeli territory indicates the pure lunacy of the leadership of the United States and her Western allies. It should also be obvious that Israel will have to eliminate this threat alone regardless of the International outrage to accompany such action. The United States now has a President fully invested in negotiations with terrorist states and even willing to provide nuclear technology as a form of appeasement. The Israeli leadership must realize security only comes thru strength, diplomacy only brings rise to more sacrifice of Jewish blood, lives, and land. The pressure continues to mount on Israel by the International Community calling for more sacrifice using supposed peaceful diplomacy to finish the Final Solution authored by Adolph Hitler. Israel must not give in to this evil plan conspired by those claiming to be allies as well as friends. Israel has always been isolated and threatened throughout it's 61 years of modern history as was the case for it's ancient history as well. Prime Minister Netanyahu must stand strong in the face of this demonic horde and know that the keeper of Israel never sleeps and has promised Israel will never cease from being a nation or be removed again.
