The feeling amongst my own folkReader comment on item: Obama and Netanyahu Meet: What's Next? Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), May 31, 2009 at 00:37 We spit in the face of this Obama and his presumptions. Who is he to tell us how to live? Now he wants to limit the number of people who can live in the established settlements. He wants us to cease building for ourselves on land we rightly posses in spite of the already agreed upon promises we gave to limit the geographical expansion of our settlements. I have seen his shill Hillary Clinton on the TV demanding that we cease building in order to have a guarantee of peace. This is ridiculous on the face of things. It is merely an attempt to trap us into a position that we would of necessity find to be untenable by demanding that we make further demeaning and insulting consessions to the Arabs. We have already conceeded enough and can give no more. The Obama camp knows this very well and so we percieve this as an attempt by them to put us in a negative and compromising position vis a vis the peace process knowing full well that we will refuse to make any further concessions which will give them the opportunity to turn around and blame us when the peace process inevitable fails as it will inder the present circumstances. If Obama is really interested in peace he will pressure the Arabs to give us something besides empty promises. So far it is we who have been doing all of the giving and all that we have gotten for it is further and greater hostility. But I seriously doubt that this will happen. Neither Obama nor Clinton is really interested in true peace. All they are interested in is having their names written in the history books as great statesmen and women. All they care about is power and they would be willing to do anything in order to obtain and maintain it for themselves. To hell with the rest of us. I pray to G-D that Bibi will not be fooled and give into this charade. He should tell Mrs. Clinton where to tick it in no uncertain terms. That is what we will tell her and the Obama.
