There is no 'Christian imperialism'. There are however more open and technologically advanced societies.

Thankyou for acknowledging that fact. You are one of the few muslims I have come across that has even hinted there might be a problem inside islam..

Why is it left up to infidels to do that? Why have not muslms been pro-active in that respect rather than leaving it up to other peoplke to point out the obvious?

success breeds success.Muslim societies for the most part are not succesful in most of the areas where western societies excel. Better to have brains washed in a successful environment than an unsuccessful one don't you think? Otherwise we'd all be complaining like you do.

That's a silly accusation - Westerners have no monopoly on the perception of climate change. Even though they did invent the instrumentation to measure it. Hopefully you do have lots of positie thoughts. Otherwise I'm sure can become quite miserable. Perception is EVERYTHING.

Yes - we do do that - that's one of the benefits of a free and open press - something Muslims can learn from.

But you do. In fact it's an incessant tirade - how often do we hear from the muslim world - 'death to America, Israel germany, Denmark, Britain - and I suppose now Switzerland.' ? Switzerland is now being criticised by muslims and a few western brown-nosers not for banning the construction of mosques - but for banning only the further constructions of minarets. Of course the hypocrisy of Muslims now shines through - where reports are coming in from Pakistan to Turkey about how difficult or impossible it is to build a church or synagogue in those countries. Putting a minaret on a mosque is like putting a spire on a church which does not have one. But in these countries the very construction of churches is banned. Can't you admit to this hypocrisy - even in your own country? Another case of Muslims demanding rights they deny others.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You'll never ever know what lies outside it if you don't stick your head out and ask. Seek and you will find. But, it's comfortable in staying in the known world isn't it?

You are correct and it's good to see yiu expressing an independent opinion.

why our so called islamic government help america fight against taliban in afghanistan. we have soldiers there. you never think.

Hamas are a bunch of lowlife thugs on a mision from allah - supplied by Iran and determined to kill as many Jews as possible. . The most succinct statement on that matter is 'If the Arabs lay down their arms there will be peace; if Isael lays down their arms there will be mass slaughter.'

You might have noticed that Russia and the west have been at loggerheads over the last 60 years - despite being ostensibl Christian societies.. religion and politics are two different things.

to put it bluntly - you have a second rate religion which stultifies your progress.

Should westerners freeze all trade with muslims (oh, and throw in the enormous amount of aid) because churches and synagogues are not allowed to be built (not just the spires remember!) in muslim countries?

In any case the amount of trade Switzerland does with arab countries is probably quite minimal. What are they going to do with precision machinery and fine chocolates?
