Iran's animosities to the 'great Satan" - the US and its allies exist because it is not Islamic. The US did court favour with the Shah in the 1960's - purely and simply because of the Cold War and Iran's proximity to Russia. Once the Shah was deposed by the deranged Ayatollah and his co- cultists - talk of the US government meddling with Iranian government decisions is pure fantasy.
Iran's meddling in the affairs of other countries is well known - eg. Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan.

Poison gas was not obtained by Saddam Hussein from any Western government. The raw materials - which could have been put to any use - e.g. agricultural sprays - were sourced from Japan and the US.To deliberately misconstrue the situation to pretend they were supplied by western governments is what I'd expect from someone who has no regard for the truth.

In fact a lone Dutch businessman actively trading in the Middle East and acting in his own interests - sold several chemicals to the Iraqis. The main gas used was mustard gas - its use has been banned for decades. Some sarin was also used though mustard gas was used in the main attack where over 5,000 people were killed.Russian MIGs and French Mirage jets were also used in that operation by Saddam against the Kurds. So are you going to blame the Russians for Saddam's actions as well? And remember Hussein conducted well over 200 sorties against the Kurds, many using chemical weapons - but he was doing this for Allah. So how can you have any objections?

So you see - it was all done for allah and by the mujahadeen - so everything is OK and you don't have to worry.

And by the way there are plenty of unconfirmed reports that groups linked to the al-Qaeda network have tried to obtain the ingredients to make mustard gas in Afghan labs.

Which of its neighbours has the US attacked in recent history? Canada, Russia, Mexico? And which countries has Israel attacked that presented no direct threat to Israel?
