I just wanted to say that i am sorry for the terrible things that you have witnessed as a child, but please when you are buying A Mosque in Munich, kindly buy a book about Islam, maybe something for Karen Armstrong, at least give your self a chance to know about us; i think people are always afraid most of what they don't know...

Ken Livingstone, a former mayor of London, recently said in an paper interview, "it was quite clear that from the end of the Cold war the U.S didn't want to wind up its arms industry and looked for another demon, with communism gone . Because half of all the military spending in the world is by America, so it is a huge part of their economy. If they were to adjust to a more peaceful world, there would be a massive dislocation and problem for finding work for all those people who are at present in the arms industry and in the military." He also added , " The far Right parties have always looked for the most recent wave of immigration So a hundred years it was the Jews, then it was the Irish, then it was black immigration. And at present it is Muslims and Islamophobia."

It's just so sad to see the oppression and prejudice the Muslims are facing, are caused by those who were once oppressed due to their Jewish beliefs; the discussions we are having today about the Muslims and their teachings are the same we were having in the early 19th century about the Jewish teachings.Even the debate over building Islamic minarets now, is similar to the ones held in the 19th century about building Jewish synagogues.

And Obama....perhaps it was the first time in US history that a president speaks of the U.S. as a country that was home to many religions such as Islam and the contributions of Islam and Muslims to world history and civilization, the way he did at the Cairo speech. However, the steps he made are rhetorical and while it presented to undo the worst of Bush's era, Obama's actual policies have been consistent with those of Bush's administration. He is a man of so many promisises and so few fulfillments...who promised to close down Guantanamo? Who promised to bring people responsible for torture and so on to justice? who promised to end the harassment of Muslims in US? ...who still believes Obama?!!
