Yes - but also ask yourself this question - and also get your co-cultists to ask themselves - where in the Koran does it say non-Muslims should not draw pictures of Mohammed?

If you're talking about 'we as a nation' meaning the USA - then just limit it to - 'Muslims in the US will go even further backward than they are today'.

And if you mean 'we as a nation'. .. meaning you're a Pakistani living in the US but consider yourself a Pakistani - then the question is - how far backward is it possible to go before you become a failed state? Indeed if it was not for the supply of dollars coming from US support in so many areas - that would have happened by now.

And as for the excuse that 'that Pakistani Muslims are convert Muslims and converts usually "over do" to the religion' - the same or similar problems exist in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, the Caucasus , Lebanon - areas which have had a long history of Islamic occupation.

And if '... converts usually "over do" to the religion..' then you should be informing all the imams in mosques sprinkled through Western countries to give up even trying for Western converts don't you think??? Obviously you'll agree with that - otherwise you'll be contradicting your own words.

But then, that won't be the first time that has happened - will it?

There is an alternative solution for this perplexing problem:

Allow people to make their own choices and educate the people in Pakistan and everywhere else in the Islamic world - to realise there are more healthier alternatives to choose from in the search for a workable philosophy in life. The adherents of Christianity, Buddhism, Zen and even that of your ancestors - Hinduism - have demonstrably less cosmic angst in their lives.
