West's guilty past

One of the reasons for Islam entrenching itself in Europe is the guilty past of European nations in colonising several Muslim countries, especially France colonising Algeria. As a consequence, France had to admit Muslims into its fold. When the Muslims are few in number, the Western Governments have allowed the demands of Muslim immigrants like an indulgent big brother. Now, the little brother is ready to bite the hand that feeds it. Contrary to the title of the article, it is not that European Islam has come under the control of Islamists. That is the very nature of Islam. Control has not gone to the wrong hands. The people in charge of European Islam are showing their true colours now - ask for concessions plaintively when the numbers are too small; use political leverage, when the percentage of Muslims is politically significant; make other Dhimmis once the Muslim majority pockets are formed. No wonder that Europe is on the way to becoming Eurabia.
