living in the pastReader comment on item: How Islamists Came to Dominate European Islam Submitted by the Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), Jun 3, 2010 at 05:40 Eman, writing from UAE : " as the science of the principles by which the conditions of both the sanad, the chain of narration, and the matn, the text of the hadith, are known. This science is concerned with the sanad and the matn with its objective being distinguishing the sahih, authentic, from other than it… " Reinterpreting a fairy story is NOT science. "........Prophet Muhammad(Salla Allahualihi Wasallam) has been accused of ordering the killing of Asma bint Marwan after she had insulted him(saw) through her poetry. She was a poetess and a mother for whose death our Prophet(saw) is being held responsible. Ahadith in whole are basically collected stories, events, actions of the Prophet(saw). However not all the stories transmitted down by a chain of narrators are cent percent true. Just like the Koran ".....For Muslims it was very important to develop a science of hadith to separate truth from falsehood." Again - literary criicism is not a science. "....In Kinz ul Ummal this story is related under number 44131 and has been attributed to three people namely Ibn Asaker, Ibn Sad and Ibn Adiyy. Ibn Adiyy i.....snip Islamic gobbledegook..............on authority of Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Ash-Shami on authority of Muhammad Ibn Al-Hajjaj Al-Lakhmi on authority of Mujalid on authority of Ash-Shu'abi on authority of Ibn 'Abbas, he has added the following: this isnad (chain of reporters) is not narrated on authority of Mujalid but by Muhammad Ibn Al-Hajjaj and they all (other reporters in the chain) accuse Muhammad Ibn Al-Hajjaj of forging it. (Al-Kamel Vol 6, pg. 145) Ibn al-Gawzi in his book Al-Ilal (Vol. 1, pg. 279) mentioned that this report was false. This report is also listed among other flawed reports. Hence in conclusion this report is nothing but a fabricated lie – a forgery and should be discarded..." What don't you like about it? Would prooof that it was true shatter your world-view? It is bizarre how muslims are obsessed with interpreting and re-interpreting a long-forgotten past - dealing with things which are based on a fiction - and which were localised to one particular geographic location.
