Muslims and Islam are two different pictures

Phil Greend thought Islam was the religion that caused the backwardness of Muslims. Therefore, he told Muslims to dump Islam and the Koran, the source of Islamic teachings. Philp Greend propably did not read the history of Islam and Muslims. The Muslims once were able to defeat the Romans and Persians who did not believe in Islam but believed in Christianity and Persian traditional religions. The victory of those Muslims over the Romans and Persians proved that they were more advanced in military power, in war strategies, and etc. The Muslims were backward and in the miserable states in many countries since 19th century after the downfall of Ottoman caliphate or sultanate baed in Istanbul or constantinapole Turky. The down fall cause by the western colonialism. The Muslims were unable to resist the western colonizers.
