Sure, sure. Under Islam women's lives are peachy.

Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 132: Narrated 'Abdullah bin Zam'a: The Prophet said, "None of you should flog his wife as he flogs a slave and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day." Ideally when you flog one of your wives, let her recuperate that day and sleep with your other wives or your slave girls

Koran sura 5.6 (repeated in sura 4.43 –re removing pollution before praying) And if ye are sick on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet or ye have contact with women and ye find not water, then go to clean high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it.

Muhammad described women as "unclean" creatures. In a Hadith, Muhammad says, "Three things corrupt prayer: Women, dogs, and donkeys." There are several other sayings in which Muhammad reduced women to the level of an animal. "Woman is a vile beast," and "I think that women were created for nothing but evil."

"'The woman has two things to cover her: the grave and marriage.' It was asked, 'Which of them is better?' He (Muhammad) said, 'The grave.'"

Tabari I:280 "Allah said, 'It is My obligation to make Eve bleed once every month as she made this tree bleed. I must also make Eve stupid, although I created her intelligent.' Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of this world menstruate and are stupid."

Honor killing of women is common even among otherwise peaceful Muslims. Reliance of the Traveler (Umdat al-Saliq, by Al-Misri, XIV c.) says that punishment for murder is not applicable when a parent or grandparent kills their offspring.

Menstruation is a disease. (2:222) Men are a degree above women (2:228) A woman is worth one-half a man: "Call two witness from among your men... (2:282) And if two men are not at hand, then a man and two women."

And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess (4:24). ("Right Hand" means slaves).

Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other (4:34)

Do not marry idolatresses; a believing bondwoman is better than an idolatress even though she please you. And don't marriage your daughters to idolaters (2:221)

No modern society can tolerate laws like "Hudood Ordinance": a woman has to bring four male witnesses with good moral character to prove gang rape. If she can't provide those witnesses she exposes herself public execution or other brutal and cruel medieval punishments.

Islam permits Muslim husbands to abandon their wives to rapists in order to save their own lives, says Dr. Yassir al-Burhami, vice president of Egypt's Salafi party, the nation's Islamist party. Earlier the Salafi sheikh said that, although a Muslim man may marry non-Muslim women, specifically Christians and Jews, "he must hate them" and show them that he hates them "because they are "infidels" (even as he enjoys them sexually).

Abu Ishaq al-Huwaini, a popular Salafi preacher in Egypt, said on Hikma TV back in 2011 that after jihadi conquests, the properties and persons of "infidel" inhabitants are to be seized as ghanima, or "spoils of war," distributed among the Muslim jihadis or taken to "the slave market, where slave-girls and concubines are sold."

Salafi Sheikh Yasir al-Ajlawni, a Jordanian living in Syria, announced a "legitimate fatwa" making it legal (in the eyes of Islam) for those Muslims fighting to topple secular president Bashar Assad and install Sharia law to "capture and have sex with" all non-Sunni women.

One man beat his pregnant wife to death upon learning that she had not voted for the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Muhammad Morsi.

Winston Churchill: "The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men."

British subversive preacher Anjem Choudary has called for women to be forced to wear the veil and stated that women who commit adultery should be stoned to death.

Shaykh Ghawhi, well-known and well-respected in Islamic universities and throughout the Islamic world, is a teacher of Islamic studies and Islamic law. He says according to Sharia: 1. A woman must only leave her house if she has a real need to do so. 2. Her husband or guardian must authorize her leaving the house. 3. When she is out, she must be completely covered, including her face. 4. When she is out, she must not look left or right but keep her head bowed down as she walks. 5. She must not wear perfume in public. 6. She must never shake a man's hand. 7. Even if she is visiting a female friend and is inside her friend's house, she must not uncover herself in case a man is hiding somewhere in the house.

The leading Egyptian cleric, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, considered one of the most influential scholars in Islam, promoted by London mayor Ken Livingstone as a moderate voice, says something on his Islam-online website, speaking of female genital mutilation (the removal of a girl's clitoris): 'Anyhow, it is not obligatory, whoever finds it serving the interest of his daughters should do it, and I personally support this under the current circumstances in the modern world.'"
