Geert WildersReader comment on item: Geert Wilders, Close to Exoneration Submitted by steven L (United States), Oct 16, 2010 at 23:01 Multiculturalism and political correctness (brainchild of the left) is slowly dying in Europe. As the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel stated it clearly to the immigrants, you adapt to our system or Germany has no need for you. The fact is very simple, the left in many European countries has and will join anyone including Muslims (with the Sharia: England is a good example) if it helps to defeat their worst "enemy", the right (their own compatriots! This is the same story that is being repeated when the left joined the communists like in France and Italy in the hope of converting the political regime of these 2 countries and to join the USSR. People do not want to learn. And the US, under Obama presidency, is repeating the mistakes made in Europe several decades ago!!!!! Greed and corruption on the right are powerful inducer of mass discontent and generate a lot of what the left is about. However the leadership of the left is just as corrupted. This looks like a no win situation. In many ways G. Wilders was and is correct, but hopefully he will not drift to the far right.
