Your article about Democracy in Holland was very informative. I didn't realize that your three branches of the government were not separate. We also have the advantage in the U.S.A. of a jury by our peers. Unfortunately, it isn't always a guarantee of a "fair" trial, due to bribery of jurors, intimidation of witnesses, etc., but we do stand a better chance of having a fair trial. Unfortunately, currently, we have a single party government, due to the majority being liberal and not listening to the voters' wishes, and they are running roughshod over the will of the people. Our President and his liberal party are quickly turning our Capitalist country into a Socialist country, and we are losing our personal freedom and our right to bear arms. Our President has appointed two Muslims to our Homeland Security Agency, and they are advocating for Sharia law.
