we do make a difference - reserved and more civil - anti-islamism-2.0Reader comment on item: Answering Khaled Abou El Fadl Submitted by myth (Germany), Dec 26, 2010 at 15:02 In the light of Khaled Abou El Fadl's obscure statements one has to clarify what "we do make a difference" means. Is Dr Pipes talking about the many Dr Pipes'S Khaled Abou El Fadl is talking about ? Maybe the one hosting this website does make a difference and the other Dr Pipes'S don't. Does Khaled by the use of plural intend to relegate Dr Pipes to the subhuman level ? Let me throw it back into Khaled's face: We don't need the AllahS, the MohammedS, the ShariahS ! The "reserved and more civil" judgement by Khaled means he sees Dr Pipes as part of the, let me call it this way, the anti-islamism-2.0 movement, possibly more dangerous than US military going after some islamist-terrorist in some far-away country with a rifle.
