islam and democracy never

in the christian world we have a time when martin luther decided to rebel against the catholic church, he did not do this out of hatred, he did it from an intense revelation of the bibicial truth that men only need to believe in the finished salvation work of jesus christ, this was one of the founding moves in christindom that changed the world, salvation was between the individual and his relationship with the son of god BY FAITH IN HIM,in other words mankind had a choice of who rules over their lives-THE BIRTH OF DEMOCRACY-,, the catholic church fought them tooth and nail, for many reasons, but they understood that these protestants had relieved themselves of the church, the catholic church was understood to be the UNIVERSAL CHURCH -thats the meaning of the word CATHOLIC, but they could no longer threaten these new christians with brimestone and hell,

to consider that there is some equation of christian faith to the islamic religion is quite a misnomer, again the word -ISLAM MEANS SUBMISSION, if any muslim were not to submit to islamic teachings they would be regarded as apostates, worse than the infidel-the rest of us-,muslims do not live by promises of salvation, they live by the koran which is not a book of faith,its a book of rules, if a muslim were to stand and say, allah will save me, he would be denying the selective choice of who is called to muslim heaven because no matter how much faith muslims might have in allah, unless they follow the koranic rules there is no hope, and ultimatly allah decides,no amount of faith will save them, thus in my opinion ISLAM CANNOT ACCEPT THE CONCEPT OF DEMOCRACY, EVER, if islam ever does , it will be no longer be islam, PERHAPS THIS IS WHAT IS BEING SUGGESTED BY DANIEL PIPES, THAT WOULD NOT COMMIT ISLAM TO BEING IN ANY WAY ABLE TO BE DEMOCRATIC, christianity and islam are in-compatable, and its only in the watered down theologys of the catholic religion and the islamic religion that any sense of compatability exists, in other words secualizing both religions, and that is happening in a big way today, catholics and muslims saying we all worship the same god, nonsense, there is no comparision between the islamic god, and the god of creation who is god of all, jesus christ.
