What about directing worldwide jihad against China ?Reader comment on item: Qaddafi's Ignominious End Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Oct 21, 2011 at 18:21 car313 >NATO is just wasting its time. After intervention in the balkans they have only created thorns in their sides. Same with Libya.< Not exactly so if you look at it from a bit different perspective. Maybe the US has a very pressing and rational need to support jihad and favor jihadists flocking to the green banner of the prophet ? Maybe it has a distant objective for jihadist aggresion in mind ? Maybe it has already defined the ultimate goal of this new US-led jihad as it did in the 1980-ies in Afghanistan ? At that time it was the USSR against which world-wide jihadism was successfully mobilized and relied upon. And now it is China whose amazing economic growth will surpass US economy in just four or five years and thus , unless checked on time, it is a direct threat to the US worldwide hegemony . A planned US-led jihad against China under the pretext of ,say, liberating the oppressed Moslems of Uyghuristan would explain a lot in today's seemingly irrational US policy in consistently supporting Islam against non-Moslems - as was shown clearly and cynically in the Balkans.
