Ok, Ok,Reader comment on item: Qaddafi's Ignominious End Submitted by Kepha Hor (United States), Nov 7, 2011 at 21:48 >>You are a strange fellow. You bomb me with the number of victims of communism in China and Russia and declare at the same time how valiantly you will fight for America. Interesting, what America will you fight for? If my memory doesn't fail me, we have already had a terse discussion on America, haven't we? Will you fight for the America of big corporations that buy politicians from both parties and concentrate 90% of the nation's income in the hands of some 10% of its population and stigmatize anybody who dislikes this abnormal disproportion typical for any third-world country as "Marxist" and "communist"? Will you fight for the America that in 1933 at the peak of collectivization of peasantry in Russia hurried to recognize Stalin's Russia to be able to do business with her and in the early 70-ies as zealously shook Mao's blood-stained hand to ally itself with him against the Soviet Union? Will you fight for the America that yesterday sent jihadist hordes to Afghanistan and the Balkans and Chechnia to kill Russians and destroy Orthodox churches in Kosovo and today is sponsoring the Moslem Brotherhood and helping re-establish the sharia rule in Libya? You will fight for it , won't you ? Maybe as an instructor of Uyghur jihadists before they are sent to "liberate" Chinese Turkestan for Allah? Yes, I am a strange guy. Before you are too hard on the richest in the USA, there is 1% of our population paying 47% of the taxes and 40+% paying no taxes at all. And, I spoke of my willingness to defend my country because you seemed to suppose that I was some kind of Jihadist only because I did not cheer for the massacres of people at Baren in 1992, or because I know that people do leave Islam. Yes, I have read Marx, who says that because some of my heritage is from the Asian continent I am "historyless", another part of my heritage has "hucksterism" for its real religion, and I oppose worshipping an image because I want a cheap church rather than because I have read the Bible. But, if 2000 pages justifies the massacres of 169,000,000, then maybe we should encourage all other exegetical traditions to do the same? And, since you are aware that my country has a history and fallible people, do I gather that you hate yours because there is ugliness in Polish history and plenty of fallible people there, too? And, I did not say America is a Paradise. My religion sees such a thing only in the future. Further, I stated I was willing to defend my country because you implied that I am a jihadi. And, to get back on topic, I believe that my government was led into the Libyan civil war because of a misplaced willingness to credit that the "Arab Spring" was something like our own Constitutional Convention.
