British passport - PalestineReader comment on item: The Year the Arabs Discovered Palestine [Short version] Submitted by slayhy (United Arab Emirates), Dec 16, 2011 at 07:40 Just to inform the reader that during the British mandate, passports were issued to the native Palestinians between 1920-1947 A passport written on it "British passport - Palestine" you can find picture in wikipedia or other sites in the internet. which proves that the name Palestine was used long before the occupation of Palestine In fact there was Palestinian currency and post stamps and there is still a palestinian culture that is different from the culture of the syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians and Egyptians (all surrounding countries) before the invation of the British. The Zionst are trying since 1948 to erase this culture, but they cannot, they themselves will be erased before they can erase the Palestinians or their culture. The Palestinians made many uprisings ever since the British occupation since 1917 onwards against the British and against the Zionists, National movements to defend Palestine is normal like any country in the world who resist occupation.
