Reasons to side with Daniel Pipes

I respect Zuhdi Jassar's arguments but side with Daniel Pipes. Arming the Syrian rebels or otherwise intervening will likely hasten the establishment of another Islamic State--and nothing appeases Islamists unless it furthers The Cause of Allah: "Fight until every person in every country is Muslim, subservient to Muslims, or dead." (See Qur'an, Surah 8:39)

Immediate intervention would also likely fuel even more hatred of America in the Islamic world.
