Reader comment on item: MPAC Calls Me an "Expert on Islam"

Submitted by Darwin Barrett (United States), Sep 24, 2012 at 09:37

The tactics of the left, which the Islamic warriors have taken to like ducks to water, rely heavily on character assassination, which combined with their well honed skills in deception results in an effective campaign to disguise the true nature of Islam. Knowledge of Islam is easily acquired by anyone with reasonable powers of observation, a logical mind, and a willingness to do a little independent research. Much of the Left is so disenchanted with Christianity and Judaism, that they feel they have a common bond with Islam. Boy are they in for a big surprise! The left dominates the media and education, so most of the sound bites the average person gets reflect the PC version of Islam. The same goes for education. Unless you are a very independent thinker, the only education you will get will conform to the PC version of Islam.

So, in my estimation, you are an expert, because you see what is happening in a clear light, and express it in a simple and logical way. I personally read the Quran, study Hadith, and read everything I can about Islam. I compare my research with what I hear and see on the news and draw my own conclusions.

One personal observation that I never hear discussed concerns the loyalty of the moderate Muslim non-combatants. In all contests, sports or war, everyone I have ever met wants their team to win. I am sure that this holds true for Islam, which means that almost one quarter of the population of the world is rooting for Islam to prevail. This alone should be disconcerting for the remaining non-Muslim population of the world.

Thanks for all you contribute.
