MPAC has greatly underestimated that number. What about the Christian apologists?Reader comment on item: MPAC Calls Me an "Expert on Islam" Submitted by Moshe (United States), Sep 24, 2012 at 15:17 Congratulations to you Daniel for that nomination. Personally, I think the award number is not so much because you were America's 25 Top Pseudo-Experts on Islam. I would like to see it read; America's 25 Top Experts on Islam, who have pissed us off by exposing our self proclaimed pseudo prophet and our barbaric religion. And may I add, have not tucked tail and ran due the scare tactics through man-made Fatwah's (which I can only picture being written with crayons. That being said, where are the many other names of people who also oppose Islam? I may not deserve a place at the head table, but I believe I do deserve to be in the room. While studying criminal justice in College, we were asked to write on a high profile criminal. So I wrote on Osama Bin Laden. Not really a big deal right? Everybody knows who OBL was since 9/11. Except, I wrote the paper in 1998. Bazinga! You don't necessarily have to follow the comments made from Muslim leaders today to know what Islam believes. It is by following the "leaders" that many are confused. CAIR has crafted this strategy among their own and permit a Muslim liberal to speak "peace, peace" because CAIR knows in time, some day, the liberal's individual Islamic worldview, will come to One common Islamic worldview, The idea that a liberal Muslim will be allowed to "think on his own" will end if Islam has its way. That is, if things continue on the road they are on. I studied Islam before I studied OBL. If the religion is pseudo and criminal, (and from my perspective as a pastor it is) then the faithful Muslim leader, like OBL, will not spread individual convictions, but will only spread true Islam. Dont get me wrong. I would agree there is value in studying the Islamic leaders because, as we have witnessed, there can be a sort of slow alteration to the interpretation of the Hadith if a conflict arises. We saw this with Ramadan and the Olympics. (I hear the Church Lady saying "how conveeeenient.) But I have witnessed the noodle brains in the Federal, State and local Gov'ts ignore the religion itself, ignore the Hadith, because they rely upon Islamic organizations and individual leaders for their analysis. CAIR would never lie to them. To sum up the point, understanding the religion itself provides great opportunity to understood its players. What MPAC has failed to take notice of is the amount of apologists speaking out from the Christian world. Not the pseudo- Christian world of Rick Warren and his ilk. The Christian world of genuine non compromising Christians who, as Jude instructed, defend the faith which has, once for all, been delivered to the saints. There is therefore, no need for further revelation. The Apostle John told the Christians that if anyone comes to you saying Yeshua (Jesus) is not the Messiah, then he is anti-Messiah. (Anti-christ) He says that person does not have the Father or the Son. So from my perspective, Islam is not a continuation of what the prophets have told us. Instead, it is a contamination, spawned from Satan. Besides, we are told that Satan can appear as an angel of light. Say Gabriel did appear to Muhammad. Not a big deal because we are told theat he can. But the message is not consistent with Scriipture. YHVH has never "forced" conversions. There is no possible way to maintain that Yeshua and Muhammad shared the same doctrine. Muhammad presented half truths and was able to gain an audience, but only because his followers were ignorant and unlearned. According to the Hadith Muhammad said he was the most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus. As a pastor I oppose this and maintain there is no such alliance or kinship between Muhammad, and the prophets who came before him. Numerous Christians, past, present and future, have stood against, are standing and will stand in opposition to Islam. In addition to the 25 names given by MPAC, they have forgotten my teacher/pastor, my friend, my brother and a fellow apologist, Dr. Robert Morey, who wrote Islamic Invasion. What about others like Anis Shorrosh or Sam Shamoun? Nevertheless, I thank God for those 25 who are in the limelight.
