Reps vs. Dems on Israel

Dear Dr.Pipes,
Truman recognized Israel as a state. Lyndon Johnson is recognized as a Righteous Gentile for rescuing Jews from the Holocaust and helped Israel in '67 war. Eisenhower and J.F.Dulles were hostile to Israel and made Britain and France stop there Suez Canal campaign. Reagan forced Israel to stop its attack on Lebanon visited the graves of the SS.
How can you say that historically the Reps have been better for Israel than the Dems.
