GOP principles vs. MittReader comment on item: Why I Am Voting Republican Submitted by Gunther H. Sciff (United States), Nov 5, 2012 at 00:51 I agree to a large extent with the message you contend is integral to a vote for Mitt Romney. The members of the GOP who seem to be in power may agree with those principles in theory, but they do not follow through with legislation that would carry out those principles. Gov. Romney is about as sad an example of someone to carry forward these principles. He is a man withouit a compass and changes his position on important matter not by any apparent beliefs but rather by the way the wind blows in is estimation. He stands for nothing except to say anything that will get him elected -and he lies consistently in order to achieve that goal.I certainy regret that we have no better choices than Mitt and Obama. However, as between Obama and his choice of Vice President and Mitt and his choice, I reluctantly vote for Obama and unlike Romeny, I pretty well know what I am voting for - the lesser of two evils.
