Martin,

I was getting very enthusiastic reading your post as I feel like a new breed of Republican myself, and I hope there are many more like me, who is socially liberal (don't think sex should be political issue, etc) but realistic on foreign policy. Where I stopped jumping was your take on Repub economics. I agree that there is plenty of room for reform and there have been mistakes, but if I have to make a choice between socialism and capitalism, I will choose capitalism with all its warts every time.

Too bad we don't agree on that one, but I guess we have a 'large tent' for the new Republicans too :)
