What exactly are Turkish Secularists Smoking?Reader comment on item: Talking Turkey Submitted by D. A. MacKAY (Canada), Dec 28, 2012 at 21:52 Any Citizen of Turkey knows that Erdoğan 's good friend Morsi of Egypt has eliminated Egypts Military power the same way that Erdogan eliminated the military leadership in Turkey. The Military is the only stumbling block in both Egypt and Turkey to Constitutional change and implementation. Egypt now has a Sharia constitution - we learn from this that Democracy is required for one thing in Arab nations. "Vote in Sharia and next you default to ending the flash in the pan called democracy". All that has currently stopped Erdogan from putting in Sharia via Constitutional change is Democracy. Once he eliminates more opposition opponents by whatever means - Erdoğan will have the votes he needs for his goal of Constitutional change. Any Turkish citizen or honest outside observer knows that Sharia in Turkey is inevitable - since when does Secularism have any meaning in a Nation becoming controlled by Islamists who "World Wide" will kill their own to purify the voting? One can only ask ' What exactly are secular Turks are smoking in their Hooka's" that leaves then so blind to Islamization of the Turkish Government?
