Anti-Islamist Muslim Author Deplores Press TV's Portrayal of the United States

So fascinating. But this lunacy very much reflects how America is portrayed when I visit my friends and relatives in Pakistan or friends and colleagues in Saudi Arabia or the Emirates.

The Americans who joined you on the panel are so foolish they have no idea the ideologies they are fueling, extremist ideologies which would just as easily extinguish their 'advocacy' as voices like yours or mine. And the segment also shows a fundamental lack of understanding of free speech by both the other Americans and the foreign observers.

I think its interesting your fellow panelists both appeared without neckties rather an interesting pro Iranian sense of decorum- ties are eschewed everywhere I have traveled in the Muslim world much more so in the post 9-11 era except perhaps Pakistan where men still wear them without feeling its a Zionist American tribute.

Completely did not understand the pro Israel coup detat moniker! Consequences to Israel in the post 9 -11 era couldn't have been more dire if we examine what has transpired since then.

Its hard to know whether this is a worthy enterprise for someone of your stature to engage with these loony tunes or to steer clear but its scary to see what passes for public informed discourse on pressTV and clarifies the level of ignorance surrounding America's domestic and foreign policy by observers both external and internal to this great country.
