Well done Dr Pipes! I have been before hostile audiences and environments before where I was the lone pro Israel or anti Obama or free market or name any other conservative position and it was not pleasant.

Yes I had reached out to others and at times (I like to think) surprised them with command of facts and eloquence but it never gets easy as those on the other side take any affront to their beliefs very very personality and hostility and occasionally insults ensue.A glass of pepto bismol is always required after the proceedings.I have been in physical fights and it was never this stressful inspite of the bruises and bleeding.

What is your secret ,how do you get through it?
