When AIPAC went AWOLReader comment on item: When AIPAC Went AWOL Submitted by Judith (United States), Mar 4, 2013 at 15:15 Well now this reminds me of that old adage of how impossible it is to pick up a turd by the clean end! Hats off to Lindsay Graham on this one. He doesn't always get it right and has been know as an appeaser in the past, as most politicians are I believe, but this time he held his own! Too bad AIPAC had less courage under fire. A bunch of Chamberlains bringing long forks to dine with the devil seem to be right in there with the old worship of the Golden Calf. Or is it the Golden Lad of the Left Wing who wields the scepter of appeasement with the Islamic Jihad who wins this battle? With half of our own country leading from behind in lock step where do we go from here to win the battle of freedom vs. tyrany? If our representatives represent the people from AIPAC to Washington, D.C. should I be buying a bigger gun? Gratitude to the Middle East Forum and a few other honest and brave souls who won't compromise ethics and freedom for lilly-livered political correctness. Is it ever correct to corrupt freedom?? Has anyone ever won doing it? Me thinks not! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
