Great point, YuvalReader comment on item: When AIPAC Went AWOL Submitted by sara (United States), Mar 7, 2013 at 18:54 This is an important point to note and analyze. Why is it that American Jews have the shadow of accusation of compromised loyalties to Israel if they are vocally supportive, while this does not occur with Muslims? First, Jews are associated immediately with one country (sometimes, whether they like it or not), but Muslims are not. There is no representative political entity that is recognized or identified. That is the crux of the matter, isn't it? Loyalty to Islamist motives does not translate in western-democratic speak to a conflict of interests but rather a manifestation of religious freedom. Until Islamism is recognized, categorized and associated with a particular entity/country, we cannot hope to address this deteriorating problem.
