We must understand it is the continuous contacts with the Western civilization (from crussades to Israel) which has created problems for the Muslim world.

Somehow Japan,China,India and South East Asia's contacts with the Western world though often less than sparkling and indeed have suffered more from the West have led them to success and prosperity.If Muslims derive the wrong lessons from the West's success,then it is not the West's problem

Furthermore, Muslims weren't exactly gentle lambs in the equation.The Crusades and establishment of Israel would not be neccesary if the Muslims hadnt captured these areas which belonged to the previous Christian and Jewish owners.

Muslims never had any murderous dictators like Saddam , Assad , Shah of Iran , Mubarak or Mustafa Kemal had they not been inspired by the Western concepts of nation-state and language based ethnic nationalism.

Timur,Babur,Aurangzeb,Nadir Shah.The various Turkic and Turkish despots put the above gentleman to shame with regard to bdy counts.

I notice that you go out of your way to mention only secular dictators! Have you asked yourself why they came to the fore. It was because Muslims themselves were so disillusioned with traditional Muslim rule they were willing to give these borderline athiests a shot!

THe Turkish people obviously disagree. To be part of a political alliance of Europe is one thing.Desiring European cultural influence is another. Please learn to distinguish between the two.

It is for all these pro-West elites in the Muslim world to see that though they may be willing to burn their last quran and unveil their last woman but still the West would not treat them as equals as converts.

I am not aware of any secular dictator insisting that the populace burn their qurans!The West is very much against the veil as our other Islamic countries. But hijab is a different matter and doesn't really bother the West as much as the veil.Please don't confuse the two

That is actually the difference between treatment to converts when it comes between Islam and the Western civilization.

Islams treats it's converts on an equal manner like Mohammad Ali whereas in the West the converts would still be slaves as epitomized by people like Nonie Darwish and Walid Shoebat.

As for the so called Muslim equality ,like the three monkeys you are blind ,deaf and dumb to the reality of intra Muslim squabbles.

As for Mohammad Ali, he converted to the Nation of Islam ,not Islam per se. Unless you want to tell me that Islam recognizes aliens and blacks as the supreme race!

Mohammed Ali criticized Malcolm X for adopting the more mainstream Islam and for parting ways with Elijah Muhammad.

Another thing-I would appreciate if you go by your real name -Dawood Baramulla or whatever. Using a Hindu name as an entrance into Hindu society is a fraudulent activity that Bangladeshis like you are notorious for.
