BingoReader comment on item: On Closed Embassies, the Worldwide Travel Alert, and Wimpitude Submitted by Will Embers (United States), Aug 4, 2013 at 17:13 "Such a change will only be possible when the safety of Americans depends not on walls, metal detectors and Marine guards, but on the deterrence established by years of terrible retribution against anyone who so much as harms a single American citizen." Since the War on Terror began in late 2001, three Muslim majority countries have been razed to the ground (Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon in 2006) at a cost of billions of dollars and tens of thousands of lives (directly) and hundreds of thousands (indirectly). Perhaps deterrence would stem from razing the other 40 odd Muslim majority countries. At least thats my take on it. We need to take the damn gloves off for once. Muslims don't hate us because of our anti-Palestinian policies, they hate us because we have freedom of thought, sexuality, and economy. Quite the contrary, Afghanistan and Iraq have received about a trillion US dollars to build them up. Reader comments (63) on this item
