Absolutely true. Clearly this is a cart before the horse situation, so let's step back a but. Why is USA, Britain, Germany etc etc in arabic lands? Who created the Shah or Iran and why? Why were blatant lies used as justification for invading (sorry! - "liberating") so many countries over decades?

I believe the answer lies in documented history - history demonstrates wherever activity in a given area suits the interests of a powerful nation - be it strategic or resources - there will be those nations - the USA being one of many. No problem there - but it's a distinct problem when dealing with Islam.

Daniel Pipes repeatedly and accurately highlights why and technically how this is unique to Islamic nations. We are hated because we are all infidels. We have strayed from Islam at some time in our lives, because all are born Islamic under Allah. That arrogance and arrant nonsense should be a good start to understanding just why "the west" is so hated - yet - our politicians have knowingly infected our respective nations under the UN banner.

The question therefore is - Would it not have been better for we "Infidels" to simply let the regressive fascist 'religion' and it's followers to simply die in their own soup? I think so!

I should add here - I am not "yank" bashing - far from it. If it weren't for "yanks with guns" - Australians would be bowing subserviently to the Japs and eating rice from little bowls, so NEVER should USA fall into the same trap as have those from British roots who have not needed to fight for liberty. Your own JPFO (www.jpfo.org) is an excellent source of information - but I digress - and I've a cold beer waiting so I had better be off. Be Happy my yank friends who tread this electronic sidewalk.
