Daniel! Wake Up!

Pessimists turn out to be true at least four times out of ten. Optimists turn out to be true one time in ten. Contingency owns the other four or five. The slow and steady decline of America has its roots in the Carter Administration. The Reagan Yeas were a breather (but he too caved to the Iranians so that he could have the staged dramatic moment at the West Wing on his inauguration day). Bush II screwed up by waging the wrong war at the wrong time. "W" basically wanted to redeem his father for not having gotten Hussein when to do so would have been easy as American troops had the regime on the run. The sealing in of the American decline came with the re-election of The Narcissist-in-Chief. Look for more auto-cratic rule by the Narciissist in Chief as he excludes Congress from governing function. He will be, if he can get just one appointment to the Supreme Court, a tyrant. Look for a suspension of elections in 2016 due to some invented "national crisis." This Narcissist is not a bumbling idiot. The WEAKENING of American power has been his agendum from the very beginning. The fault, Horatio, is not so much in the stars as in our electorate. We voted him in. (just in 2008 in my case). The Glory of Greece; the grandeur of Rome; the buffoonery of America. The whole thing is not pathetic; it's Bathetic.
