Two for the price of oneReader comment on item: Forget Syria, Target Iran Submitted by Wallace J. Schwam (United States), Sep 10, 2013 at 11:29 Dear Dan, Your suggestion that this is the time to strike Iran makes lots of sense. Clearly, Iran is Ring Master and Energizer of the the whole Syrian show. With Naval forces positioned, only a few dials have to be turned to target Iranian military assets. Even if the bomb construction sites cannot be penetrated, the rocket launching areas can be degraded. Iranian supplies to Syria and Hezbollah will be curtailed for domestic use which would be the best way to relieve the Free Syrian Army. Justification comes from the Iranian threat to attack our people in Iraq if we take measures against Assad's use of poison gas. Therefore, Iran has become a de facto sponsor of poison gas itself. Iran's attempt to blockage the Strait of Hormuz, will advance our domestic fracking industry not to mention the sale of electric cars.
