Expecting "reality" in American Lib political environment - ?

I've tried for years to insert some sense of perspective concerning America's decline into stark ignorance, ambivalence, disinterest, and self-indulgence. Not happening. There is no reality in what has become bimbosim politics and Americans will stay buried in this realm until the pain intrudes beyond the government's will and ability to keep us there. (Do not seem able to start new paragraphs on Pipe's forums anymore.) Political commentary on the U.S. landscape will go nowhere until the purveyors of truth become very stark and bold about proclaiming it and ramping up the attack in pointing out the purposeful dumbing down of America's population.
