Response to Daniel PipesReader comment on item: "Kerry Is Just Not in Touch with Reality" Submitted by Moderate Pragmatist (United States), Sep 5, 2016 at 11:46 You are right Dr. Pipes. But in the same speech Ms. Thatcher also said the following: But we must take every possible precaution to protect ourselves: sustained security measures for our aircraft and our airports: constant checking of people and luggage however irksome: combined action to penalise countries which harbour and assist terrorists: and above all the closest possible cooperation on pre-emptive intelligence. Too often in the past our countries have begun well but then slackened and grown complacent, making ourselves easier targets. It is good to take away the oxygen of publicity from the terrorists, but right now there is a debate about whether or not the threat of terrorism has been overblown. The debate is a serious one where three presidential candidates (Gary Johnson, Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton) all see the threat as overblown versus Trump who has placed the threat of terrorism, dysfunctional immigration policy and enforcement at the center of his campaign. My contention is that the open borders globalists, of which Kerry is a part, do not want the public to know the full extent of the threat because that would jeopardize their plans to keep our borders open and stop potential terrorists (immigrants from countries that harbour terrorists) from coming here. Thanks for your continued dedication.
