al-Wala' wa al-Bara' is even worse than TaqiyyaReader comment on item: The Jewish-Muslim Connection: Traditional Ways of Life Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Apr 26, 2014 at 14:48 Our dear Riad Zand wrote There are huge rewards in Islam for helping others, and in fact, a Muslim is obliged to help another in need, even a non-Muslim. . Far from the truth and shame on you for uttering this nonsense and it is either you are unaware of what is in your Islamic sources as you shall see below or you were hoping that we kuffar do not read your sources and if your claim is correct then how come millions of your Hindu ancestors were brutalized killed and enslaved by the Muslim invaders of India and how come those invaders allowed this crime to take place if as you claim "a Muslim is obliged to help another in need even a non Muslim"! For the readers: There is a bizarre and less known doctrine in Islam called al-Wala' wa al-Bara' or الولاء والبراء and here is what it means that Muslims should help and befriend only other Muslims even if evil and to never be friends or help or even associate with non Muslims and this is what this evil doctrine is about http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%A1_%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1 And the word الولاء or al-Wala' means ومعنى الولاء: هو حب الله ورسوله والصحابة والمؤمنين الموحدين ونصرتهم. Or al-Wala' means he who loves Allah and his messenger and his early followers and the believers and those that believe in the unity of Allah and their victory And here is the meaning of the word al-Bara' والبراء: هو بغض من خالف الله ورسوله والصحابة والمؤمنين الموحدين، من الكافرين والمشركين والمنافقين والمبتدعين والفساق. Or al-Bara' are those that do not agree with Allah and his messenger and his early followers and the believers and those that believe in the unity of Allah from the unbelievers and polytheists and hypocrites and those that invent and are perverts This really means that al-Wala' is the opposite of al-Bara' and al-Wala' by Muslims must only be provided to other Muslims and no help or friendship should be provided to non Muslims even to the likes of Ghandi or Mother Teresa or the Buddha And here is the reference http://www.kalemat.org/sections.php?so=va&aid=52 These are your islamic sources and for more information on this evil doctrine see al-Tabari's exegesis of Q5:51 http://www.quran-for-all.com/t-5-3-51.html This means that Muslims can only befriend and support other Muslims even if that Muslim is evil and Muslims should not befriend or support non Muslims and included here would be Jews and Christians and Hindus and Buddhits and atheists and the reast of humanity even the likes of Ghandi and mother Teresa So it seems that your claim is false Now you tell us our dear Riad Zand how come you did not know about al-Wala' wa al-Bara'? ...
