London pubs :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

Thanks for letting us know about this book. Incidentally, there are many reasons why 90 pubs close every year in London, but one never given by those seeking to protect them is the changing demographics of the city.

It's actually about one thousand pubs a year throughout the country.

But the key here is the ban on smoking and changing social habits, not Muslim pressure:or changing demographics.
