Sadly the staunchly roman catholic GKC was far from philosemitic, though hardly in the same league of shame as his odious cousin AKC.

As a commentator, GKC's strenuously ironic polemical style is grating to modern sensibilities, but his novels may be worth reviving.

In addition to "The Flying Inn' there is "The Man who was Thursday" -- as devastating a demolition of anarcho-utopian intellectuals and their millieu as anything from the pen of Dostoyevsky -- and far wittier.
